With last Wednesdays vote to repeal Obamacare, we were virtually punched in the face with how polarized this congress is. The truth factory known as Ezra Klein (no relation to our fearless leader) wrote this article talking about how bad this republican congress is.
What he failed to realize is that many of us in the conservative arena are OK with a “do nothing congress”. The way I look at it is, when congress is doing nothing, they aren’t screwing anything up either. Think about it, when was the last time anyone ever said “thank God congress fixed that”? My guess was shortly after they passed child labor laws, and maybe twice after that.
The reason for this posting is Ezra makes the statement in the article above about how congress has voted to repeal Obamacare 33 times. Think about it, 33. There are a few holes in this claim though. The most glaring one is they have done no such thing.
As I've stated before, liberals see through facts. Nothing is more transparent than a liberal fact. Congress has only voted to repeal Obamacare twice. That’s it, twice. Now one thing that is true, is that there have been 33 attempts to repeal all, or part of obamacare. Most of those were due to provisions no one knew were in the more than two thousand page bill. For more information on some of these watch this video here, it will only take 5 minutes.
This all goes back to arguments I've made about wash rinse repeat. If you say something enough it becomes true. For example: I'm rich and powerful, and women are not repulsed by me what so ever.
At this point, I'm almost convinced liberals are allergic to facts, that's why they never use them. If you invent your own facts, they can't be truths, and therefore can not cause you to break out in to hives. Or worse yet, become a conservative.
