Nuke the Punchline: Jay Carney Denied

Harvey over at IMAO has another straight line of the day up, and so it is time to pick the winners of the last one:

At the morning White House press briefing, Jay Carney denied...

#5 g: ...ever making any of his previous denials

#4 Paul Smith: ...reality.

#3 Marc: ...Were we talking about Baghdad Bob or Jay Carney? I get them confused….which one has the silly hat? Is Jay Carney the secret love child of Baghdad Bob? They have the same passion for the truth.

#2 Dohtimes: ...that the Knights Who Say Ni were de-Ni-ed for denying a need to say Ni.

And the best punchline goes to FormerHostage:

At the morning White House press briefing, Jay Carney denied the Lord three times. Figured that was the DNC platform.

Congratulations, FormerHostage!

Now here's a line for you guys to play with:

The Obama campaign has a new iPhone app...

  1. ...a fun little game called "Angry Muslims".

  2. ...allows the user to vote multiple times.

  3. Every time you turn on the phone, you donate $1 to Obama's campaign.

  4. ... where the map only shows the blue states.

  5. Called "Clinging to their Guns and Religion" Two setting Muslin and Christians...

  6. It reaches into your pants pocket and squeezes the money out of your wallet.

  7. FormerHostage's winning line is one of the best and most perceptive I've read in a long, long time. Thank you very much for that, I'm still laughing.
The Obama campaign has a new iPhone app..., It sends your contacts to the Democrats, sends your money to the Democrats, Sends your PII to the Democrats so they can look up your ancestors and have them vote Democrat, and Release 2.0 will supposedly geld Republicans, so look out for that.

OK, not very funny, I realize, but if you read the above feature list out to an audience of Democrats, you'd probably get cheers, so it's not that far-fetched for them to try.

  8. The Obama campaign has a new iPhone app, so now they're trying to figure out how to get the rich minority to buy all the democrats iPhones.

  9. It registers you for an absentee ballot in all 57 states
