I saw this poll the other day, detailing attitudes toward America, and noticed something interesting:
The most negative attitudes toward our nation are from putative allies and nations we don't seem to really have any argument with, like Turkey, Pakistan and Jordan.
The most positive attitude toward our nation, sometimes matching and even EXCEEDING OUR OWN OPINION OF OURSELVES: Japan.
So, the questions I have are these: Didn't we nuke Japan about 70 years ago? How is it the strongest, most positive attitudes towards our country are from the only country that has ever been nuked, and nuked by US?
Exit question: Second look at nuking the Middle East?
