Political commentary from a nuclear point of view.
Just had a brainwave for a new feature here. Rather than haveing 3 Suitcase Nukes in a row, couldn't they have all been grouped as individual thoughts under the line "MIRV". Each is an independent thought that has the potential to create equally devastating destruction.Just a thought.
I don't want to over-theme the blog too much, or we'll turn into the People's Cube where you would have to read a lot to figure out if those guys are actually Stalin-loving communists or excellent satire. I don't want anyone thinking this blog is about our love of nuclear weapons, even though we all really love nuclear weapons. Because they are cool.
What I wanted to do was to draw you in and devastate you with the first thought, then let then second go long enough later to get hte first responders, followed by a third the took out everybody looking on. Like a Right-wing extremeist attack of brutal wit and insight.Seriously though, not a bad idea, though MIRV doesn't contain the word "nuke," which was my conceit for the idea. Plus, wouldn't the MIRV fall under the tactical nuke concept, which would encroach on Keln's domain. Or would it be a strategerical nuke?
MIRV's fall under the strategic umbrella, as they are designed to disrupt the command and control centers of the enemy and interfering with their ability to direct their forces, whereas tactical nukes are designed for in-theater or battlefield use, i.e. blowing a hole in the Commie lines and rushing through the gap into their rear. The use of the "suitcase nuke" could technically fall under either.Anyone who knows anything about nukes knows that when a MIRV is coming in, your dropping "The Big One" with the intent of taking out the opposition with extreme prejudice.
My purpose is to spread fear. And confusion. My purpose is to spread fear and confusion. And Chaos. My purpose is to spr...Oh, heck. I don't know a whole lot about nukes, but I do know I like using the term, and the idea of Nuking the Moon.
Someone should go with a "Davy Crockett".Google that if youn's don't know what that is.
Excellent choice! Subtle, yet destructive!
