Nuke the Punchline: When Obama Started Moving the Goalposts

Harvey over at IMAO has another straight line of the day up, and so it is time to pick the winners of the last one:

The most notable moment during the female NFL kicker tryout...

#5 D***Cat: ...was her imaginary girlfriend.

#4 can of spam: ...was when the coach’s whistle was thankfully there to protect her from being raped.

#3 Oppo: ...was Charlie Brown’s disturbing laughter as he pulled the ball away at the last second.

#2 Iowa Jim: ...was Bob Costas’s observation that her kicking shoes didn’t match her purse.

And the best line goes to Bunkerhillbilly:

The most notable moment during the female NFL kicker tryout was when Obama called her before she kicked to tell her " the Force is strong within you, Uhura, go kick a homer for The Gipper!"

Congratulations Bunkerhillbilly.

The best punchline for the last Nuking Politics straight line was from Bob in Feenicks:

With Kim Jong Un pacified and Hugo Chavez out of the way, John sending the Harlem Globetrotters to Iran.

Congratulations Bob. Again.

Now here's a line for you guys to kick around:

The strangest thing during Rand Paul's filibuster....

  1. Amazon sold out of DVDs of "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington"

  2. ...the drone hovering above his head.

  3. ...was Sen. John McCain wishing he was still a POW back in Nam when the torture wasn't half as bad and a real man peed his pants rather than stop talking.

  4. how long it's been since the words of the US Constitution have been uttered in the chambers of the US Congress.

  5. ...after 13 hours of non-stop talking, he started to sound a lot like Jimmy Stewart.
